Kristin Wolfe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has been practicing psychotherapy in the New Orleans for over 9 years. Her primary focus is on treating selfharm behavior (i.e., cutting, etc.), suicidal ideation, emotion dysregulation, and Borderline Personality Disorder using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has specialized training in DBT through Behavioral Tech, LLC (founded by Dr. Marsha Linehan). Kristin has been conducting a DBT group for adolescents for the past 4 years and also provides individual DBT. Kristin has also received training in Prolonged Exposure therapy for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In addition to treating Trauma (i.e., physical abuse, sexual abuse), Kristin is well-versed in treating other anxiety disorders using exposure therapy. She also has extensive experience treating depression, parenting, family work, and working with adolescents. Kristin offers a nurturing environment with the understanding that entering therapy can be daunting, but is a courageous decision to make where one can find many tools to reduce and end suffering and pain.
